Digitalism is an indie dance production duo from Hamburg in Germany. Consisting of Jens (“Jence”) Moelle and Ismail (“Isi”) Tuefekci, Digitalism sprung to global fame in 2007 with their debut album ‘Idealism’ and accompanying dancefloor-smashing singles ‘Zdarlight’ and ‘Idealistic’.

Originally known for their ferocious, bit-crushed and highly compressed style of production, they emerged at a time when the fusing of peak-time dance beats with a rock and roll attitude was reinventing electronic music for a new generation.

Now, on the eve of their 2011 album, ‘I Love You Dude’, the boys are staying true to their groove-heavy roots whilst adding a new pop sensibility aimed squarely at the radio.
